We are excited to share the launch of our new Food is Medicine initiative video, now live on the MasseyFoodRx.com homepage. This engaging video is a must-watch for anyone wanting to understand our initiative’s workflow and the wide range of patient services we provide. In just a few minutes, the film presents powerful visuals and clear narration to explain our mission.
Alongside the video, we have rolled out new signage outside the AOP elevators. This important addition reminds eligible patients about available food resources.
A significant part of our initiative is the Feed More Food Boxes program. Each box is crafted to provide immediate nutritional support for one person. This is essential during the period when patients are transitioning to longer-term food solutions, such as local food pantries like Feed More.
The Food Resource Center, located in AOP G-006, is evolving as well. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment; as the year progresses, we will feature patient artwork in the room.
Looking forward, we plan to expand our storage options to include cooking supplies to support upcoming nutrition education and cooking demonstrations. These initiatives aim to equip patients with practical skills and knowledge for healthier eating.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work to enhance our Food is Medicine initiatives. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives we touch, ensuring everyone has access to the food resources needed to maintain good health.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our vital work!
